Babies Born Healthy Leadership Forum

 Today is

BALTIMORE, MD (October 20, 2008) – Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH) Secretary John M. Colmers will be the keynote speaker at the one-day Babies Born Healthy Leadership Forum tomorrow at the BWI Marriott in Linthicum. Babies Born Healthy is an initiative launched by DHMH that emphasizes prevention services and quality improvement, with the belief that improving infant health requires a comprehensive, multifaceted approach to include families, communities and providers. More than 100 participants from the health care arena will join to share ideas and develop an action plan to enhance healthy birth outcomes.
